The Nagra battery powered reel to reel is Swiss industrial design perfection. These were the standard field recording devices until the 90's. From the 50's to the 90's it was upgraded and refined 9 times. I'd really love to have one of these.

Yes, these were special. Everything felt so smooth and solid. It performed difficult mechanical maneuvers smoothly and effortlessly.
